Chhath Puja is Bihar's soul laid bare. For four days each Kartik (Oct–Nov), families gather on the banks of the Ganga to thank the Sun God, standing waist-deep in the river to offer arghya at sunset and again at dawn. Patna's ghats fill with lamps, folk songs and an devotion you feel in your chest.

Through the rest of the year, the evening Ganga aarti keeps the riverfront glowing. We can arrange a ghat visit and a quiet boat ride so you witness it without the crowds.
